Rita Figueiredo Reis Rola

Rita Rola holds a PhD in Law from the Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences of the University of Vigo and a degree in Law from the Law School of the Catholic University of Porto.

She holds post-graduate degrees both in Labour Law and in Registry and Notary Services from the Law School of the Catholic University of Porto. She also holds post-graduate degrees in Economic and European Criminal Law and also in Informed Consent from the University of Coimbra.

Rita Rola bears the title of Expert on Defenceless and in Social Conflict Minors from the Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences of the University of Vigo.

She is a professor at the Fernando Pessoa University and at the Higher Institute for Business and Tourism. She also delivered training in different areas of law.

She is the author of numerous publications, particularly in the area of children and young people rights.

Rita Rola practiced law from 14 June 2005 to 6 November 2023.

She carried out the duties of Lay Judge at the Juvenile and Family Court of Porto.

She served as legal adviser at the Red Cross follow-up services for victims of domestic violence in Póvoa de Varzim.

Rita Rola is a member of the Regulatory Board of the Regulatory Authority for the Media since 7 November 2023.
